What Happened?

A Written Assignment to Use the Past Tense

•  Write a letter to a person – a friend, your grand-father/mother, your mum, your dad, your cousin, your teacher or someone else.
•   Tell them about something that happened yesterday, last week or last month.
•    Use as many  verbs as possible from the list. Remember to write in the past tense!

• Use your imagination! Be creative! It doesn’t have to be true!

•   Follow the instructions for writing a letter!

• Time: 70 minutes = 1 lesson

Lesson one – 7A on Tuesday w. 7 - prepare the assignment:

1. Make a mind-map of what happened.

2. Look up words you don’t know and that you need in your letter.

3. Make sure you know how to write a letter.

4. Fill in all the verb forms you know.

Lesson two – 7A on Friday w. 7:

1. Look att your mind-map.

2. Start writing the letter by hand!

3. No use of dictionaries this time. Use your mind-map!
